Todd N. Ostergard, Esq. has more than 30 years of legal experience, dedicating his career to protecting the rights of clients in the areas of immigration, criminal defense, and family law. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Ohio in 1991 and began his legal career as a prosecutor, giving him a unique strategic perspective that benefits every client he represents.

His primary focus is criminal defense, where his experience as a former prosecutor allows him to anticipate the prosecution's strategies and build strong, effective defenses from the outset. He also has an extensive background in immigration law, having practiced through many of the most significant developments in modern U.S. immigration law, including the implementation of NACARA, the transition from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to the creation of USCIS, ICE, and CBP, the introduction of DACA, the growth of asylum litigation, and the many changes in immigration policy over the past two decades.

As the leader of a law firm with deep roots in the Miami community, Mr. Ostergard continues to serve clients with integrity, compassion, and decades of proven legal experience. His commitment is to provide strategic, results-driven representation focused on protecting his clients' freedom, legal status, and future.

Katherine Isabel Vazquez, Esq. is a dedicated and highly accomplished attorney committed to serving the legal needs of her community. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she finished among the top 10 students in her graduating class, reflecting her academic excellence, discipline, and commitment to the legal profession.

Katherine began her legal career at 19 years old as a paralegal under Todd N. Ostergard, Esq., at The Law Office of Todd N. Ostergard, where she gained hands-on experience representing clients in immigration, family, and criminal matters. She later worked with the City of Miami, where she developed valuable experience in municipal government and legal processes.

To further expand her knowledge of immigration law, Katherine participated in the Student to Attorney Recruitment (STAR) Program with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Through this program, she worked with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) at the Miami Immigration Court, gaining firsthand experience with immigration court proceedings and the adjudication of removal cases. This experience provided her with an in-depth understanding of the U.S. immigration system and the complex challenges faced by individuals and families navigating it.

Today, Katherine is known for providing compassionate, client-centered representation while combining modern legal practices with clear communication. As a bilingual attorney, she is committed to ensuring that every client understands their options and feels supported throughout every stage of the legal process.
